This bright airy café bar is right at the heart of Ayr town centre’s social scene.

Opening at 8 am it serves probably the best coffee around, just perfect to set you on your day. With an extensive menu available all day starting with scrambled egg and wholemeal bread for breakfast and an array of freshly made sandwiches for lunch it has proved popular with the office set as well as shoppers on Ayr’s busy shopping circuit. Later in the day it transforms into a buzzing bar with those finishing work, sharing a bottle of wine with some nibbles before they go home and others who want an ice cold beer or even a champagne cocktail to welcome the weekend. Renowned for its excellent 14” stone baked pizzas, mouth watering pastas, delicious steaks and efficient friendly staff the Meridian is undoubtedly the place to eat, drink and be merry and watch the world go by.
