Renowned for its luxury smoked foods, Marrbury Smokehouse is the number one supplier in Scotland to some of the UK's most elite Michelin starred chefs and hotels.

This is your opportunity to come along to our delightful smokehouse shop and cafe where you can buy your very own taste of luxury at "direct from the smokehouse" prices. All of our produce in our shop and tearoom comes direct, fresh daily from our smokehouse in Bargrennan.

Our speciality café serves “out of the ordinary” luxury light bites so be prepared for something quite unique! Our menu changes according to season but of course, at all times, features dishes prepared from Marrbury Smoked Foods. In summer season you will find delicious sandwiches and wraps with freshly prepared home deli salads. In winter, one of the dishes you will find is Ruby’s famous “Marrbury Smokehouse Chowder”.

Perhaps you are self catering in the region, and wish to stock up on some fine local produce, or maybe you want to take a "Taste of Galloway" home for yourself or friends. Either way, you are sure to find tempestuous mouth-watering treats from Wild Cree Smoked Salmon (which comes from our own net on the River Cree!) to delicacies such as Smoked Peppered Duck Breast or Smoked Kirkcudbright Scallops. From cheese to chicken, duck to venison, we have it all here at Marrbury Smokehouse. Our luxury tearoom serves "out of the ordinary" light bites so be prepared for something quite special!
 

Marrbury Smokehouse Deli, Bistro and "Smoked N'Battered" chip shop @ Carsluith Castle is now open seven days!

Sunday 11am - 6.30pm
Mon - Thursday 10am - 6.30pm (often later depending on season)
Friday & Saturday 10am - 7.30pm

Our bistro closes one hour prior to shop closing time however our new smoked n' battered take away counter remains open until approx 30 minutes prior to close time.
